Jo’s yoga style
I started my yoga journey back in 2000. Finding the blissful sense of ease in my body a welcome relief to lifes challenges. I then trained in 2008 and have been strudying, practising and teaching ever since.
My yoga practise has very much changed with the period of life that I am in. I studied Ashtanga, Power yoga before children, then restorative yoga and pregnancy yoga while having children. And now in motherhood I find a releasing hatha style (influenced by scaravelli yoga) balances out the busyness of being a mum. During classes I may draw from several approaches to adapt to the energy of the moment.
Yoga offerings
Join me at Mountain Pilates in Monbulk on Monday mornings 9.30-10.30am or Tuesday evenings 7.15pm-8.15pm. In a small and friendly environment, you will get a good stretch that will leave you feeling deeply restored and relaxed.
Go deeper into your practise with personalised private yoga classes. Having taught private sessions for almost 20 years, I can give you deeper guidance and specific practises that suit people with therapeutic needs or restrictions in mobility that make group classes less suitable.
